Veteran Joseph “Joe” Cornelius Nall, 50, of 184 Laird Avenue SE, Warren, Ohio, departed this life Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:53 p.m.

He was born July 26, 1968 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Huey and Lathenia Sellers Nall.

Mr. Nall was a self-employed Auto Mechanic for 30 years and also worked for one year in Line Repair for Time Warner Cable.

He attended Temple of Love, where he was in charge of maintenance.

He enjoyed singing, fishing, electrical work, building things, cooking and talking about history. He was a man of all trades.

He was a 1986 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, where he was on the honor roll, ROTC and Track Team. He also took classes in computer science.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret and Paratrooper from July 14, 1986-March 25, 1993, serving in Germany and Mexico, receiving the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter and marksmanship rifle badge.

He leaves to mourn four sons, Jamar Hill of Warren, Oscar Frost, Oronde Frost and Quincey Frost all of Columbus; three daughters, Ms. Patsy L. Nall, Ms. Millard Frost and Ms. Jaylayko Frost all of Columbus; two brothers, Thomas Nall of Tallahassee, Florida and Enoch (Laura) Nall of Warren; one sister, Ms. Stephanie Nall (Nate) of Warren; six grandchildren; a special love, Ms. Beatrice “Bea” Nelson of Warren and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Darryl Nall and one nephew, Levi Nall Knepper.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel.

Calling Hours will be held one hour prior to the service, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Burial will take place Tuesday, Febraury 26, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

Family will receive friends at the home of his cousin, Lionel Sellers, 2389 Cranwood Drive SW, Warren.

Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
