HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – William John O’Marrie, 84 of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Nugents Convalescent Home.

He was born on March 10, 1937, in Greenville, to the late Esther (Small) and Thomas E. Marrie.

He graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1955.

William worked in the maintenance department for Sarasota Memorial Hospital for 13 years, retiring in 2001.

He was a member of Notre Dame Church.

He enjoyed mechanics, home remodeling and going to car shows.

William is survived by his wife, Faith (Rossi) O’Marrie, whom he married February 15, 1958 and she survives at home; daughters, Kelly O’Marrie and her husband, David Wilkerson, of Sarasota, Florida and Tammy O’Marrie and her fiancé, Mark Mastrianno, of Hermitage; sons, Mark Marrie and his wife, Vicki, of McKinney, Texas, Matt Marrie and his wife, Ruth, of Masury, Ohio, Brad Marrie and his wife, Vicki, of Sharpsville and Brian Marrie and his wife, Nan, of West Chester, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty (Gerdy) Marrie.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20 at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 E. State Street, Hermitage. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Very Rev. Richard Allen officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
