HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Teresa J. Klug, 87, a resident of John XXIII Home, Hermitage, died of natural causes at 4:10 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at the nursing home with her family by her side.

She was born September 27, 1934 in Farrell, the daughter of Armenia ( Fillipelli) and Luigi Gervase.

She graduated from Farrell High School in 1952.

Teresa was employed as a personal banker and loan officer at First National Bank for 42 years.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Teresa belonged to the Shenango Valley Business & Professional Women’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, card playing and attended her class luncheon monthly.

She is survived by her nieces, Lois Stanton and her husband, John, of Hermitage and Carol Dunham and her husband, Ray, of Hermitage; her nephews, Louis Squatrito and his wife, Stacey, of Hermitage and John Grzejka and his wife, Erna, of Virginia; six great-nieces and nephews and 12 great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Klug, whom she married May 17, 1955 and who passed away January 29, 2021; three sisters, Mary Germano, Angeline Grzejka and Rose Squatrito and two brothers, Santos DeMarco and Samuel Gervase.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Matthew Ruyechan as celebrant.

Burial will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery, Hermitage.
