FARRELL, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Stephen Megyesi, 62 of Farrell, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021, in his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on December 13, 1958, in Sharon, to Angeline “Buttercup” (Revale) Megyesi of Sharon and John J. Megyesi.
Stephen graduated from Kennedy Catholic in 1977.
Stephen was a burner and jet torch operator at Reserve Iron Ohio and at various locations for 44 years, retiring in 2018.
His hobbies included restoring old cars and trucks, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Megyesi at home, whom he married May 9, 1998; daughter, Brigette Bevly and her husband, Jason Crosser, of Cleveland, Ohio; son, Michael Bruner of Pulaski; brothers, John Megyesi of Sharon and David Megyesi and his wife, Valerie, of Sharpsville; grandchildren, Kyla and Giavanna Bruner, both of Pulaski and nephews, Jonathan Megyesi and his wife, Samantha, of Champion, Ohio and Joshua Megyesi of Sharpsville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Calling hours will be held Friday, October 8, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m., at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148.
