FARRELL, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Robert E. “Big Rob” Rice III, 49 of Farrell, died at 4:43 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 in Sharon Regional Medical Center, due to a heart attack.
On January 31, 1971, he was born in Sharon, a son to Mary (Adair) Rice and her husband, Robert E. Rice, Jr., of Sharon.
Big Rob graduated from Sharon High School in 1991 and was employed at Wheatland Tube as a laborer for 11 years.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church.
His hobbies included coaching football for Sharon Midgets and Peewees and rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals. He loved spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter.
Rob is survived by his daughter, Ra’Kiya Rice of Sharon; a son, Robert Rice IV of Sharon; sisters, Rhonda Rice Roye of Virginia, Cecelia Rice of Virginia and Anita Rice and her fiancé, Phil Sullivan, of Farrell; brother, Rodney Rice of Sharon; granddaughter RaNiya and special friend, Yolanda Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
