GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Robert David “Bob” Brettell, 58, of Hempfield Township passed away unexpectedly August 26, 2021 at 6:45 a.m. in his residence.
Born November 11, 1962 in Steubenville, Ohio to Ann (Chuma) and Robert H. Brettell Bob attended Linsly Military Institute in West Virginia and Thiel College.
He graduated in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Bob was employed by Dry Tech, Beran Painting and George Junior Republic as a manager for 32 years.
Bob attended St. John’s Orthodox Church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. He was a former Hempfield Fire Department volunteer who enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren, going on road trips with his wife and lifting weights. Bob was an avid Ohio State fan.
His wife, Martina (Andrusky) Brettell, whom he married May 16, 2014 survives him at home. Other survivors include his daughter Kayla Johnson and her husband Jacob of Greenville, Pennsylvania, sons Troy Pinch and his wife Tabitha and Geof Pinch all of Greenville, Pennsylvania, sisters Colleen Denise Duvall and her husband Dan of Kentucky and Carolyn Brettell of Yorktown, Ohio; grandchildren Alec Johnson, Madilynn Pinch, Carolann Johnson, Bailey Pinch and Jakob Carl-David Johnson and five nieces and four nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held by his family at a later date.
