SHARON, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Raymond M. Sewell, Sharon, died at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020, in his residence after an extended illness. He was 90.
Raymond was born October 17, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Susan (Garabanik) Sewell and Morton Manuel Sewell.
He graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland in 1948.
Raymond was a physical therapist assistant for UPMC Horizon Shenango in Farrell for more than 20 years.
He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, where he received the Korean Medal two stars.
Raymond enjoyed painting, movies, biking and weightlifting.
He is survived by six nieces, Karen Jasko, Susan Becks, Diane Jasko, Barb Podmore, Mary Ellen Sefchik and Ann Lizak; eight nephews, Edward J. Sewell, James Bates, William Bates, Ray Jasko, Tom Jasko, Sherman Lizak, Daniel Lizak and Nathan Fresh; a sister, Marylou Jasko, Parma, Ohio and his beloved dog, Tony.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol A. Anthony, whom he married October 22, 1998; two sisters, Dorothy Bates and Kathleen Lizak and a brother, Edward E. Sewell.

Arrangements are being handled by John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
