FARRELL, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Mykal Elliot Sellers, 24, of Farrell, went to his resting place unexpectedly on Saturday, August 1, 2020, in Wheatland.
Born on April 7, 1996, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Michelle Gavins, of Farrell and Michael Sellers of Columbus.
Mykal was very comical, caring and a big teddy bear. He was a loving person who would always put other people first.
He is survived by sister, Madison Gavins of Hermitage; brothers, Tyler Sellers of Farrell, Holden Gavins of Farrell, Malek Sellers, Micah Sellers and Devon Sellers, all of Columbus, Ohio; grandmother, Annette Gavins of Columbus, Ohio; aunts, Lisa Corbin of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia, Mercedes Gavins of Columbus, Ohio and Rachel Jones of Columbus, Ohio; great-aunts, Angela Keller of Hermitage and Janet Gavins Jackson of Hermitage; great-great-aunt, Eloise Ward of Farrell; niece, Ava Sellers; special friend, Vantajah Rankin of Wheatland and a host of close cousins, family and friends.
Mykal was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Willie H. Gavin, Jr.; great-grandmother, Mary E. Gavin; grandfather, Michael E. Gavins and great-uncles, Paul Gavin and John Gavin.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East Street in Hermitage.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 11:00 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage, with Rev. T. Harrison officiating.
A television tribute will air Friday, August 7, at the following approximate times: 6:43 a.m. WYTV, 9:32 a.m. on WKBN, 10:58 a.m. on FOX and 8:12 p.m. on MyYTV.
