HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Molly M. White, 83, of Hermitage, passed away Monday evening, May 9, 2022, at her daughter-in-law’s residence in Greenville following an extended illness.
She was born August 6, 1938, in McCurdysville, Pennsylvania, to Almira (Eddy) and Charles Morris.
Molly worked at Packard Electric for more than 30 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of New Life Community Church in Vienna, Ohio.
She enjoyed bowling, bingo and going to casinos. She loved watching West Virginia University sports.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Cindy White Bell and her husband, Bill, of Greenville; a son, Robert “Bobby” White of California; sisters, Dolly Fleming of Morgantown, West Virginia, Betsy Howvalt of Rivesville, West Virginia and Kay Davis of Fairmont, West Virginia; brothers, Sidney Morris of Fairmont, David Morris of Barter, West Virginia and Charles Morris of Cleveland; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert N. White; a son, Eugene “Gene” White; two sisters, Patty Shamrock and Peggy Meffe and three brothers, Joe, Bob and Larry Morris.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
