HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Michael Golden, age 61 of Farrell, Pennsylvania, departed this life Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Born August 23, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio; he was the son of the late William and Joyce Drake Golden.
He was a 1977 graduate of Sharon High School.
Michael was a man of many trades – a certified chef, minister, truck driver and fisherman.
He was a member of the Hillside Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Pennsylvania and also enjoyed ministering at many other churches in the area.
Michael loved being with his family, traveling, concerts and the two most important were food and fishing. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Cheryl. Also surviving are his children, Michael “MJ” Golden of Farrell, Autumn Holland of Columbus, Ohio and Tiara “TT” (Corey) McKenzie of Brookfield, Ohio; a stepdaughter who he helped raise, Yauna “Kel” Hyatt of Cleveland, Ohio; his siblings, Thomas (Linda) Golden of Ft Wayne, Indiana, Jennifer (Thomas) Matthews of Sharon, Pennsylvania and Royce Satchel of Sharon, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Christian, Michael III and Isabella and many relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, November 30, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Valley Baptist Church, Farrell, Pennsylvania.
