HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Michael K. Flood, 74, of West Middlesex, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2021, in Clepper Manor in Sharon due to an extended illness.
He was born on March 1, 1947, in Sharon to Lucy (Paoletta) Flood and Douglas Flood.
He graduated from Farrell High School.
Michael was a steelworker and a self-employed electrician.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
His hobbies included woodworking, playing the guitar, piano and drums and taking his 1971 Corvette, which was his pride and joy, to the car shows.
He married his wife, Deborah Flood, July 11, 1981 and she survives at home. Also surviving is a sister, Julie Sertl of Bluffton, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Cathy, Carol and Pattie.
Calling Hours will be on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148, where a funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. C. Charles Eckles officiating.
