HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Mary Alice Chintella, 88, of Sharon, formerly of Hermitage, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, April 19, 2020, in Clepper Manor after an extended illness.

Mary was born October 10, 1931, in New Castle, a daughter of Harry Winters and Edna (Palmar) Winters.

She attended Pulaski schools and was a homemaker.

Mary was a member of Pulaski United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed bowling.

She married her husband, Paul Chintella, on August 27, 1947. He survives at home. Also surviving are a daughter, Marjorie Sears of Mercer; a sister, Peg Knight of West Middlesex; a brother, Noris “Red” Winters of Pulaski; two grandchildren, Laura Razzaz and Lisa Mould; two great-grandchildren, Chris Wise and Logan Mould and one great-grandchild, Zoey Wise.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marie Gerty Harriett and five brothers, Bill, Jim, Bob, John and Howard.

Due to the COVID-19, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in America’s Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
