NEW WILMINGTON, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Mark Albert “Tiger” Frantz, 66, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at The Grove at New Wilmington.
He was born on May 19, 1954, in Titusville, to the late Margery “Margie” Burgeson and Marshall Frantz.
Mark graduated from Farrell High School in 1972.
He worked at General America for many years and retired from Greenville Metals.
He was the president and a founder of the Farrell Alumni Association.
He enjoyed coaching baseball and being involved with the Little League programs. Mark loved spending time at Buhl Park, seeing local, live music and spending time with his family and many friends.
Mark is survived by his son, Ryan Frantz (Candice); his daughters, Ericka Frantz, Blake Frantz and Sydney Frantz; grandchildren, William, Mia and Chazz Mercurio; sisters, Marcia Dubay, Marla Wooditch, MariLynn Devine and Marcy Lynn Frantz, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, father and sisters, Marsha and Margery Frantz.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buhl Park Corporation.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 29, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in Hermitage. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation. All are welcome.
