SHARON, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Marilyn L. Wilson-Loutzenhiser-Hemstock-Oakes, 88, of Sharon, passed away at 12:02 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2020, at St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage, following an extended illness.
Marilyn was born October 12, 1932, in Sharon to Charles and Treva (Overdorf) Wilson.
She graduated from Sharon High School in 1950.
Marilyn worked as a nurse for most of her life and she was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
She enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo and doing crafts.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise Bierhaus,of Sharon and Terri Harrington of California; two sons, Joe Hemstock and his wife, Veranne and Gregory Hemstock and his wife, Debbie, all of California; a brother, William Wilson and his wife, Rita, of Washington; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; two sisters, Joyce White and Noreen Logan; two brothers, Richard and Charles Wilson and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory, 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148. A funeral service will follow at the John Flynn Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m.
Burial will be in America’s Cemetry in Hermitage.
