FARRELL, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Margaret Jane “Peggy” Sam, 81, of Farrell, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in her residence due to an extended illness.
She was born on September 10, 1939, in West Middlesex to Olive (Smith) Anderson and Robert Anderson, both deceased.
She graduated from West Middlesex High School, where she was on the cheerleading squad.
For 30 years, Peggy was a manager of the Takis Bar and Roamers 1, both in Farrell.
She was an avid pool player, and she enjoyed gardening and watching Steve Harvey Family Feud.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Boardley of Sharon, Mary Cravens of Indiana and Ronda Keeley of Farrell; sons, Randy Purdie of Farrell and Clay Sam of Farrell; sister, Clara Hazlett and her husband, Ray, of West Middlesex; special friend, Sheanna Peterson of Sharon; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild.
