HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Lorraine G. McCann, Hermitage, formerly of Fontana, California, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, December 12 in Sharon Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was 94.

She was born December 30, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Clara (Eickert) Jarchow and George Jarchow.

Lorraine worked for the Fontana Unified School District as a dietician.

She was a member of Notre Dame Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Crivello of Hermitage and Susan Kovach and her husband, Gary, of Fontana; two sons, Joseph F. McCann and his wife, Sylvia, Redlands, California and Charles E. McCann and his wife, Cindy, of Fontana and nine grandchildren, Danyelle McCann Martucci, Deanna McCann Bacor, Nick McCann, Joseph McCann, Jr., Dawn Crivello Ryan, Jennifer Crivello Weakley, Scott Kovach, Gary Kovach, Jr. and Kamrin Kovach Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis E. McCann, whom she married August 31, 1946 and he passed away August 23, 2013; a sister, Carrie Dahlquist; a brother, George Jarchow; a son-in-law, Ron Crivello and a grandson, Timmy McCann.

Calling hours will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Masks are required for service and visitation.
