HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Judy Bottenfield, 80, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.

She was born on October 20, 1940, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, to the late Gladys and George Bobby.

A lifetime resident of the Shenango Valley, Judy graduated from Sharon High School in 1958 and went to work for Sharon Steel as a data entry clerk.

She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hermitage and served on the Dorcas Women of ELCA committee.

After raising a family, Judy went back to work as a Tour Guide escorting visitors through the scenic roads of Western Pennsylvania Amish Country and also volunteered her time as a caregiver for hospice services in Mercer County.

She leaves behind a son, Carl of New Jersey; granddaughter, Ashley Hannah of Nevada and sister-in-law, Louise Knox of Hermitage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; son, John and brother, Dave Bobby of Sharon.

The family would like to thank the dedicated doctors, nurses and caregivers at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Shenango On the Green of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, for their compassionate care.
