FARRELL, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Genovia Williams of Farrell, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
She was born on January 14, 1933 in Sharon.
She was a graduate of Farrell High School, Pittsburgh Art Institute and Sharon School of Nursing as an LPN.
Mrs. Williams was a choir director for the Youth Choir at First Baptist Church and later in life a member of the Kingdom Hall.
She worked at Sharon General Hospital for 30 years.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Williams and his wife, Cliffena Williams and Vaughn Williams and his wife, Nancy Williams; siblings, Florine Smith, Shirley Dunlap and Waymon Richardson and his wife, Ardell Richardson; grandchildren, Amanda, Dustin, Brandon, Shree, Christopher, Vaughn and Daphne and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Williams, Jr. to whom she was married to for 49 years; her parents, Cornelius and Minnie Richardson and brothers, Cornelius Richardson, Curtis Richardson and Lawrence Richardson.
Arrangements are being handled by John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
