HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Elizabeth J. Pajka, 91, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Sandra, in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward G. Pajka who died in 2010. They were united in marriage July 4, 1951 in Mount Caramel, Pennsylvania.
Born September 14, 1929, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Clemaski) Gildea.
She worked several jobs over her life, her favorite and most fulfilling, as a nurse’s aide at the previous Villa of Divine Providence in Lansdale. Caring for the elderly brought her immense joy.
After retirement Elizabeth and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country where they met many new friends. She enjoyed attending bingo weekly, cheering loudly for the Phillies and was an avid reader, great cook, pie baker and animal lover.
Elizabeth was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Parish in Lansdale.
Surviving Elizabeth are her daughter, Sandra Giska (Walter) of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; her son, Stephen Pajka (Patricia) of Harleysville, Pennsylvania and her dear grandson, Seth Pajka (Kirsten) of North Easton, Massachusetts.
Graveside service will be held privately in Mount Caramel, Pennsylvania.
