HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Dorothy M. Fill, 90, of Hermitage, passed away at 4:42 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at UPMC Jameson after a brief illness
She was born on November 20, 1930, to the late Mary (Pollock) and George Evanchan.
Dorothy graduated from Farrell High School in 1948.
She was employed at First Federal Bank as a teller and then she became a bookkeeper for Specialty Metals.
Dorothy was a member of Our Lady Of Fatima, Farrell.
She enjoyed going to casinos, playing slot machines, watching crime shows and polka parties on TV.
Dorothy is survived by son, John Fill of Hermitage and sister, Marylou Hornyak of Sharpsville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dolek “Henry” Fill, whom she married July 10, 1965; a daughter, Doreen Fill and three brothers, Albert and Nick Evanchan and John Marovich.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon.
