WEST MIDDLESEX, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Dennis D. Myers, of West Middlesex, formerly of Hadley and Franklin, died at 3:33 a.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2020, in St. John XXIII Home in Hermitage of natural causes. He was 78.
Mr. Myers was born May 27, 1941, in Redbank Township, Clarion County, a son of Ethel Orr Myers and Paul Myers.
He was a welder who worked for GATX and retired from Trinity Industries in Greenville.
He was a member of First Church of God in Greenville.
He enjoyed classic cars and the outdoors. He liked fishing, hunting, gardening, football and spending time with his family.
Survivors include a daughter, Lu Ann (Michael) Schuller of West Middlesex; four sons, Carl Myers of, New Wilmington, Randy Myers of Kittanning, Rodney (Tracey) Myers of Oil City and Dennis Myers, Jr. of Mercer; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty, Patricia and Judy and three brothers, Earl, Jack and Bob.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 6, following visitation at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon.
