HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – David Leroy “Dave” Martin, Hermitage, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, unexpectedly in his residence. He was 63.
Dave was born October 8, 1958, in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, a son of Mary Jane (Stahl) Martin Meyersdale and the late Glenn M. Martin.
He graduated from Meyersdale High School in 1976, Clarion University in 1980 and Ohio Northern University in 1989.
Dave was a pharmacist for Rite Aid in Hermitage for 29 years, retiring in 2018.
He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Hermitage and attended Abundant Life in Sharpsville.
Dave was a former member of Pennsylvania Pharmacy Association and the American Pharmacist Association.
He enjoyed crafting, Legos and computer games.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer (Stoyer) Martin, whom he married September 21, 1991 and she survives at home; a son, Jeremy Martin and his fiancée, Natalie Schoen, Bellevue, Ohio and Brendan Martin of Hermitage; sisters, MaryAnn Fike of Meyersdale and Nancy Stokes and her husband, Gerald, of Manheim, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister, Shirley Martin.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 03, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 04, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
