SHARPSVILLE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Barbara “Barb” Kaufman, 66, of Sharpsville, passed away after a brief illness at 7:35 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Cabot, Pennsylvania.

She was born on October 2, 1954, in Sharon, to Elinor (Templeton) Smith of Brookfield, Ohio and the late John Robert Miller, Sr.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1972.


Barb was a supervisor for Bon Appetit of Grove City.

Barb was a softball coach for Reynolds High School, 14 & under and many other teams for over 20 years.

She was a Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. She enjoyed going to concerts, Disney World vacations and going to the beach.

She is survived by daughters, Stacey Jones and her husband, Dustin, of South Beloit, Illinois and Ashley LoPresti and her husband, Mike, of Sarver, Pennsylvania; sister, Lori McWeeny and her husband, Greg, of Sharpsville; brothers, Ron Miller and his wife, Diana, of Brookfield, Ohio, John Robert Miller, Jr. and his wife, Roye Ellen, of Tidioute, Pennsylvania and Richard Miller of Grand Rapids, Michigan and grandson, Michael LoPresti.

Barb was preceded in death by her father and her husband, James Kaufman, whom she married April 29, 1977 and he passed away September 16, 2008.

Calling hours will be Monday, April 5, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage, Pennsylvania 16148, with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
