Jennifer M. Stanhope, 37, passed away at Mercy Health – St. Joseph Warren Hospital on Saturday, November 24, 2018, after a brief illness.
Jennifer was born in Warren on November 27, 1980, to Timothy Bedlion and Debbie Nichols Bowser.
On September 20, 2003, Jennifer was united in marriage to John Stanhope, who survives.
Jennifer was the owner of Funshine Learning Center. She was a natural caregiver and was driven to teach young children their beginning foundation in their education.
However, Jennifer’s true passion and greatest achievement was her family. She was a devoted wife, daughter and perhaps most importantly, a loving mother.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, John; her daughter, Madison Stanhope; her mother, Debbie Bowser; her father, Timothy Bedlion; her maternal grandmother, Geraldine (Mike) Village; father-in-law, Phil Stanhope; as well as, many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dale Bowser; mother-in-law, Donna Stanhope and dear friend, John Moran.
A memorial gathering in celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, Cortland.
