James Mick, 89, of Damascus, died at 2:05 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Auburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Damascus.
He was born on August 16, 1929, in East Liverpool, son of the late Ralph and Mabel (McBane) Mick.
He was a steelworker at Crucible Steel, then retired to work at a local hardware store in East Liverpool.
He is a member of the Virginia Avenue Church of Christ in Chester, West Virginia and a Wellsville High School graduate.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 12:00 Noon in Virginia Avenue Church of Christ in Chester, West Virginia.
A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 27, at the church.
The burial will immediately follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Wellsville.
Arrangements were by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
A television tribute will air Friday, October 26 at the following approximate times:
12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
