SHARON, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Violet Grindstaff, 62, of Tionesta, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, in the Clarion (Pennsylvania) Hospital.

Violet was born on July 9, 1961, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Theodore and Mona (Arnett) Tatomirovich.    

She was a 1979 graduate of West Middlesex High School.

Violet had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Tionesta Missionary Alliance Church.

She had several certifications for working with disabled children and found great joy working at Damar Services in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Violet enjoyed traveling, Hallmark movies and being around those she loved, especially her grandson, nieces and nephews and her church family.

She is survived by two children, Tabatha and Joshua Kane, both of Pleasantville, Pennsylvania; a grandson, Isiah Hart; her mother, Mona Tatomirovich of Tionesta and two brothers, Theodore Tatomirovich and his wife, Michelle, Masury, Ohio and Robert Tatomirovich of Tionesta.

Violet was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Dora Tatomirovich and Diana Hancox.

Calling hours will be 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 20 in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State Street, Sharon. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21 in the funeral home with Rev. Anthony Kladitis, officiating.
