FARRELL, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – John Joseph Doyle, 75, of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Farrell, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at St. John Macomb Hospital.
John was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on March 18, 1948 to John Thomas Doyle and Mary (Blasko) Doyle.
John graduated from Farrell High School in 1966.
He was a proud United States Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War.
He worked as a tester for Westinghouse until they closed, then took his talents to Detroit, Michigan to continue maintenance and electrician work.
He had a passion for woodwork. John’s favorite thing to do was coach his grandson, Johnny in football.
John is survived by two sons, David Doyle of Harper Woods, Michigan and William (Jennifer) Doyle of Menominee, Michigan; grandson, Johnny Doyle of Harper Woods, Michigan; two granddaughters, Rylee Doyle of Menominee, Michigan and Lola Doyle of Menominee, Michigan; two sisters, MaryAnn (John) Murphy of Farrell, Pennsylvania and Donna (David) Sotak of Allentown, Pennsylvania; brother, Thomas (Theresa) Doyle of Wheatland, Pennsylvania; two aunts, Helen Blasko of Sharon, Pennsylvania and Mary Blasko of Hermitage, Pennsylvania and two special friends, Jennifer and Renne.
John was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debra Doyle.
Visitation will be held at John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2630 E. State Street in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., where a funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
