SHARON, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Jerry Lee Thompson, 80, of Masury, Ohio, passed away Thursday evening, December 31, 2020, in her home surrounded by her family.
Ms. Thompson was born August 15, 1940, Grove City, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late David Gregg and Marion (Stanley) Smock and attended Sharon High School.
A dedicated homemaker, she also worked many various places, including Sheetz, GetGo and Truck World.
Jerry was an avid card player and looked forward to gambling trips with her friends. She was also an amazing cook and baker. Above all, she cherished her children, grandchildren and her dog, Rusty.
She is survived by a daughter, Joy Hayden and her husband, Daryl, of Greenville; three sons, Robert Thompson and his wife, Carol and Terry Thompson and his companion, Tina, all of West Middlesex and Richard Thompson and his wife, Tonya, of New Wilmington; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a sister, Sherry Buchanan of Farrell.
In addition to her parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Edward Thompson III.

Calling hours will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., until the time of the service, Monday, January 4 in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State Street, Sharon. Funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Interment will be in America’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
