Harold D. Peters, age 88, died at 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018, at Omni Manor Health Care Center-Windsor House in Youngstown.
He was born November 1, 1930, in Center Township in Columbiana County, the son of the late Raymond and Georgia (Osburn) Peters.
Harold served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, had been employed at General Motors, was a member of the Ohio Freemasons (Western Star Lodge #21) and enjoyed motorcycle riding with his wife.
His wife of 65 years, Daisy M. (McKnight) Peters preceded him in death April 16, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Peters of Salem, Ohio; a sister, Sandi Keto of Louisville, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Marlyn Peters of Salem, Ohio; niece, Tammy Metzgar; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Aubry Peters and Dale Peters; a sister, Alice Mathey and a stepfather, William Lee Boyles also preceded him in death.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Doerle officiating.
Burial will be held at Hope Cemetery.
