ALLIANCE, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Wayne Ellsworth of Alliance, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023.

He was born in Twinsburg, Ohio on August 16, 1942 the son of the late Harold and Margaret (Smith) Ellsworth.

He was a 1961 graduate of West Branch High School.

Wayne was a US Army veteran.

He was also past member of the Sebring American Legion, he enjoyed playing the lottery especially scratch offs, watching Cleveland Sports teams and always willing to find good deals at garage sales.

Survivors include his children; Troy (Missy) Ellsworth, Paula (Ed) Rummell, four grandchildren Cody Ellsworth, Dylan Ellsworth, Dean Rummell, Sheridan Rummell and 3 great grandchildren; Harlee, Walker and Delaney Ellsworth. He is also survived by his siblings, Ruth Weigand of Kent, Margie Fitzgerald of Salem, Irene Shea of Saginaw Michigan, Karen Willard of Deerfield, Twyla (Bob) Painter of Salem, Elaine Roberts of Canton, and Cheryl Urdiales of Canton, and Ron A. (Kerry) Ellsworth of Alliance. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers William D.,Harold O. Jim and Forrest “Pete” Ellsworth; sisters Yvonne Oyster, Maryelva Urdiales, Sandy Kepner, Debbie Moreland and Carol Ellsworth.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home in Sebring with Father David Weikart officiating.

Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, with military honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard.
