EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Richard Wright of East Liverpool, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Richard Wright was born on March 17, 1962 in Salem Ohio. He was the first born to his father, Dennis Wright and the late Sandra (Comanisi) Wright, both of Salem Ohio.

Rick was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1980.

Over the years, he worked at Hunt Valve in Salem, previous owner of Suburban Market in Salem and owned R&K Cards and Comics.

He enjoyed sports, gardening, collecting sports cards and comic books, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Many knew him as Ricky doing what he loved the most, playing the guitar. He played in several bands in the area, including RU Deadly and War Pigs.

Rick is survived by his father, Dennis Wright and brother, Brian Wright both of Salem; mother of his children, Kim (Albright) Graham; daughter, Chanel Wright; son, Richard (Ricky) Wright, Jr. of Las Vegas and four grandchildren; Kaden, Caleb, Kinslee and Mila.

Rick’s family & friends will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday May 6, 2023 at the Salem VFW Post 892 located at 496 Arch Street in Salem.

Arrangements are being handled by the Gednetz-Ruzek & Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
