ELLSWORTH, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Neil “Tony” Anthony Moracco, 67, of Ellsworth passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family after fighting a long hard fight of multiple illnesses.
Tony was born on January 1, 1954 in Warren, Ohio to the late Fred and Anna Mae (Wehr) Moracco.
Neil was a carpenter by trade and loved to point out buildings of the ones he built. He enjoyed coaching and teaching softball especially to his daughters and the light of his life was his granddaughters.
Tony is survived by his wife, Christina (Hendricks) Moracco; children, Kelly (Steve) Moracco, Kimberly Moracco and Toni Jo (Jared) Hahn; grandchildren, Emilie and Lacie Hahn; a brother, Earl (Tracy) Moracco; five sisters-in-law, Diana (Jerry) Smith, Debbie (Randy) Yakubek, Gina (Randy) Stull, Robin Moracoo and Jean Hendricks and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Tony was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Moracco; a sister, Cathy Hanscom; mother- and father-in-law, Paul and Barbara Hendricks and brothers-in-law, Paul Hendricks and Dick Brubaker.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Christiansen officiating.
Friends and family will be received the hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Fresenius Salem Dialysis Center and Ohio Living Hospice for the care given to Tony.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Tony’s honor to Ohio Living Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Road, Building E, Suit 201, Canfield, OH 44406.
