SEBRING, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Clyde Ray Woods, 94, of Sebring passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio.

Clyde was born on June 30, 1929 in Beloit, Ohio the son of the late Roy and Violet Estela (Chaney) Woods. 

He was a 1947 graduate of Beloit High School and was an employee of SanCap, as well as a member of the Sebring VFW.

Corporal Clyde Ray Woods served in the United States Army as a guard of honor from March 14, 1951 to March 13, 1953.

Clyde leaves behind several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Wanda, Alma and Betty and a brother, Donald.

A graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
