BOARDMAN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Eric John Rendes, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 2023. 

He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 22, 1965. 

Eric grew up attending Campbell City Schools and graduated from Mineral Ridge High School where he played football. 

Eric was an avid sports fan who followed his beloved Buffalo Bills. He also followed the Cincinnati Reds and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He loved fishing but his greatest asset was his sense of humor. He was the life of the party and possessed a very quick comeback wit. 

Eric served in the Army National Guard.

During his working career, he was a baker at Giant Eagle and a laborer at Astro Shapes.

Eric is survived by his daughter, Emilie Rendes; brothers, Lou Rendes (Kira) and Chris Rendes; nephew, Louie Rendes; half-sister, Trisha (Rendes) Cates (Grant); Mark Rendes (January) and stepmother, Debbie Rendes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Frank Rendes, Sr.; mother, Bernadette (Bednarik) Sebest and grandparents, Joe and Olga Rendes.
