Edward David Kossin, 67, of Salem, died at 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born on March 21, 1951, in Cleveland, the son of the late Edward and Edith (Schenck) Kossin.
He was currently employed at the Speedway Gas Station here in Salem. He was a former salesman of industrial products.
Ed was a golfer and helped at the Cleveland Metroparks golf courses before coming to Salem.
He was looking forward to this summer and to volunteer at Buck Run Golf Course. In his younger years, he was a softball umpire, basketball referee and attended many of his childrens’ sporting events.
He is survived by his children, Kaelin E. (Dale) Bobula, Seth W. (Brittney) Kossin and Andrew J. Kossin, all from the Cleveland area; three brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.
There will be no services held.
