Dorothy J. Williams, 88, of Warren, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at home. 

She was born October 3, 1929 in Warren, the daughter of John and Mary (Forsek) Riffle and had lived in the area most of her life.

Dorothy was a 1947 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and worked as a beautician. 

A former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, she enjoyed bowling, sewing and crafting in her early years and later found pleasure in flower gardening, landscaping and redecorating her home.

Fond memories of Dorothy live on with her daughter, Robin Thomaswick; her granddaughter, Emily Thomaswick and her great-grandson, Sawyer Thomaswick, all of Toledo. Also surviving are a daughter, Terry Williams of Florida; three grandchildren, Jesse (Andrea), David and Aaron Kiepper; a great-grandson, Alexander Kiepper; a sister, Josephine Laasko of Maryland and three special nieces who spent a lot of time and shared their lives with her, Penny Pavelko, Heidi Laasko and Susie Varga.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Albert F. Williams, whom she married September 23, 1958 and who died October 22, 1997; four sisters, Mary Riffle, Vicki Merrifield, Ann Baker and Pauline Varga and five brothers, John, Frank, Joseph, Rudolph and Charles Riffle.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home

Friends may call 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, at the funeral home prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. 

A television tribute will air Friday, April 13 at the following approximate times: 6:41 a.m. WYTV and 8:41 a.m. MyYTV and 9:58 a.m. on FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
