Donna Lee Steffey, age 70 of Lordstown entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Hospice House of Poland of natural causes, surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born on September 14, 1947 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late James and Janet (Hileman) Schaeffer. She has lived in Lordstown for the past 31 years, formerly of Warren and Kittanning.

Donna married Walter Edwin Steffey on June 29, 1968. Donna and Walter have been blessed with 49 wonderful years of marriage.

Donna sold Home Interiors part time while taking pride in being a wife and mother.

Donna was a member of the First Christian Church in Niles and a member of Lydia Circle.

She especially loved her Boxers. She loved garage sales and enjoyed shopping. Donna was a friend to all that knew her. Most of all she loved her family.

Loving memories of Donna will be carried on by her husband, Walter E. Steffey of Lordstown; son, Glenn (Millicent) Steffey of Lordstown; sister, Elaine (Sam) Sloan of Rural Valley, Pennsylvania and her precious grandchildren, Sabrina Williams and Mozella Steffey.

Donna was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Orr.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at The First Christian Church of Niles, 33 Arlington Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446.

Donna will be laid to rest at Lordstown Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
