NORTH BENTON, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Troy Corbett Butler, Jr. “Red” went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2021 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 59 years young.
He was born July 18, 1962 to Troy, Sr. and Carolyn Butler.
He was raised in Swannanoa, North Carolina but called North Benton, Ohio his home for the better part of his adult life.
To most he was known as “Red”.
He is survived by his wife Kathy; children, Patricia of Swannanoa, Tabitha (Bryan) of Sebring, Ohio and Dennis (Shannon) of Sebring, Ohio; grandsons, Austin, Codey (Kayla), Aaron and Joshua and great-granddaughter, Ava.
He was a truck driver for Estes Express Lines of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. It is with heavy hearts and abundant amounts of love we say bye for now to our husband, dad, pa, “Red” and dear friend.
“Red” loved hunting, farming, mowing, traveling and being a truck driver. He found great enjoyment in teaching others anything he could. To know “Red” was to have a best friend. He taught his grandsons the value of working hard and survival skills. To “Red” you were family the minute you met him. He never knew a stranger.
