ALLIANCE, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Diane K. Bowen, age 73, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Aultman Hospital, from an illness following an operation.
She was born December 22, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Margaret Kuester- Radaj) Glowazki.
Diane loved her family especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
She was a homemaker before her children were all in school and was very active in volunteering at their schools. She loved children and babysitting.
She worked many years at Country Manor in Alliance.
She had a strong interest in politics and enjoyed collecting antiques, canning, baking, knitting, crocheting and sewing clothes for her family. She loved her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Bowen, whom she married in 1965; daughters, Rebecca Bowen and Lori Wilkinson; sons, Scott Bowen and Edward “Ted” Bowen; brothers, Keith (Mavis) Bohlman and David (Gail) Bohlman; grandchildren, Krystina (Miguel) Diaz, Alicia (Paul) Mensah, Tyler Bowen, Christina Jarvis, Margaret “Maggie” (John) Vaughn, Rebekah Faithe Dickson, Roger Caleb Dickson and Seth Dickson; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Charlotte “Sue” Bowen; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
