ALLIANCE, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Carol Ann Ford, 59, departed this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, after having suffered a stroke several months ago.

Carol was born July 16, 1963 and was the daughter of Philip and Jo Ann Stumphf of Edinburg, Ohio.

She was a 1982 graduate of Southeast High School and attended Maplewood Career Center, where she acquired her skill as an accomplished floral designer.

Carol made many friends through her floral work and was currently employed at Greenhouse Florist in Hudson. Carol was also the owner of Heavenly Cupcakes in Kent, Ohio. It was her favorite saying, “maybe a cupcake will help” and they usually did.

Carol was a member and attended Liberty Bible Church in Atwater.

Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Terry and her favorite puppy, Beau.

Carol was creative and enjoyed sharing her talent with family and friends. She loved preparing meals and making her grandchildren special cakes for their birthdays and weddings. Her family came first.

Carol is survived by her sister, Peggy (Dennis) Edwards; brothers, Raymond Stumphf and Philip Stumphf, Jr.; stepchildren, Trevor Ford and Stacey (Steve) Rauch; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Carol is also survived by her aunt, Faye Pierce; uncle, Willard (Nadine) Carver and aunt, Eleanor Carver. Not to forget her current doggies, Tori and Cuddles, who miss her very much.

Regardless of the relationship, she was always Aunt Carol.

A celebration of life will be held later.
