Daniel W. Wagner, 66, of the city’s west side, passed away Thursday morning, November 8, 2018, at his home of natural causes.
Daniel was born January 21, 1952, in Warren, a son of the late James Arthur Wagner and Maude Florence Callahan Wagner and was raised in Leavittsburg.
He worked for 37 years for Republic / LTV Steel and for WCI, retiring in 2008.
Mr. Wagner was a follower of Jimmy Swaggert Ministries on the Sunlight Broadcasting Network.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Menendez Wagner, whom he married April 4, 1991; three sons, Caleb Wagner (Torri Rogenski) of Austintown, Drew (Samantha) Menendez of Vienna and Daniel Keaton of Steubenville; two daughters, Dawn Keaton of Steubenville and Hannah (Thomas David) Ortiz of Girard; grandchildren, Lainey, Dante, Drew, Leo, Olivia, Nikaya, Ethan, Sophia, Madison and Illeana; a great-grandson, Kyzar; a stepdaughter, Geri Wagner and her family; two brothers, James (Garnet) Wagner and Denny (Eva) Wagner; three sisters, Donna (Bud) Irons, Betty Anderson and Phyllis Harvey; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, and from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 16, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m.
Interment will follow the services at the funeral home and will be at Brunstetter Cemetery in Austintown.
