FARRELL, PA (MyValleyTributes) – Dana L. Haynes II, 28, of Farrell, passed away Tuesday evening, April 16, 2019, in UPMC Horizon, Shenango Valley.

Dana was born April 28, 1990, in Watertown, New York, a son of Dana L. Haynes I and Jacklyn Jones.

He was a 2010 graduate of Farrell High School.

Dana was a member of One Kingdom Ministries, Farrell and looked forward to attending its Tuesday prayer group. He was also a member of Whole Life Services, Hermitage.

He was full of life and enjoyed being with his friends and family, music, dancing, swimming and going for walks in the park. Dana had an eye for interesting rocks and had and extensive collection.

He is survived by his father, Dana L. Haynes I and his wife, Tawnya, of Butler, Pennsylvania; his mother, Jacklyn Jones of Sharon; stepmother, Lynda Cottle Haynes of Farrell; maternal grandmother, Marie Jones of Sharon; four sisters, Santana Wells and her children, Azariya Talbert and Muhammud Hill, of Pheonix, Arizona, Desiree Ann McFarland and her son, Marlin Tillman, Jr., of Baltimore, Maryland, Destiny L. Haynes of Farrell and Tamar Lowe-Haynes of Butler; an aunt, Donna M. Thomas of Sharon; two uncles, Billy Jones of Sharon and Curtis (Valerie) Jones of Farrell; three cousins, Toney, Merendia and Michael Bonner and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dana was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Selena Haynes; paternal grandfather, Johnny Dyer and paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Geneva Gunn.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Whole Life Services, 1565 East State Street, Hermitage, PA 16148.

Dana’s family would like to thank everyone at Whole Life Services for all they have done for Dana and his family.

Calling hours will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon, until the time of the service, Saturday, April 20, in One Kingdom Ministries, 927 Lee Avenue, Farrell, PA 16121.

A going home service will be at Noon, Saturday, April 20, in the church with Apostle Brian and Pastor B.J. Pleasant, co-officiating.

Arrangements handled by J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.

A television tribute will air Friday, April 19 at the following approximate times: 12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
