A home going celebration in honor of Mr. Damon L. Adams will be held on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center. Mr. Adams departed this life on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Youngstown.
Mr. Adams was born on February 12, 1979, in Youngstown, a son of Tyrone Graham, Sr. and Linda Adams.
He was a 1999 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and later received his certification in welding from the New Castle School of Trades.
He was an avid L.A Lakes fan and an die hard Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and spending time with those who were close to him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Tyrone (Tiffany) Graham, Jr., Ra’Sean (Chelsea) Graham, Sr.; his sister and caregiver, Alicia Adams, all of Youngstown; his nieces and nephews, A’shia Graham, Jamek Clarett, Ra’Shia Graham, Ra’Sean Graham, Jr. Rae’Jon Graham, Jalaysia Jones, Camron Graham; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and dear friends, including Donald Wilson whom he considered a brother and Meisha Engles, all of Youngtown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Shirley Lightfoot and his grandfather, L.C. Adams.
Friends may call Friday, September 14 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at J.E. Washington Funeral Home.
The family will receive Saturday, September 15 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center.
Interment will be held in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
A television tribute will air Thursday, September 13 at the following approximate times: 12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
