Cleotis Cobb, 58, of 910 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Warren, Ohio, departed this life Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 6:30 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Boardman Medical Center, following a brief illness.

He was born December 14, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Parkies and Lovie Lee Cobb, Sr.

Mr. Cobb was employed with Hardee’s Restaurant for 20 years as a morning shift manager, before leaving to take care of his ailing parents. He also worked several years as a manager for the Trumbull County Country Club.

He was a member of Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ, the YMCA, coached basketball for local church leagues, was an avid sports fan and loved playing basketball and football.

He was a 1978 graduate of LaBrae High School and attended Trumbull County Trade School in auto mechanics.

He leaves to mourn his mother, Mrs. Lovie Lee Cobb of Warren; six brothers, John E. Cobb, Sr. and Parkies Cobb, Jr., both of Warren, Vincent E. (Darlene) Cobb, Sr., of Syracuse, New York, Melvin D. Cobb of Warren, Richard D. Cobb, Sr., of Columbus and Jeffrey Lee Cobb of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie M. (Jeffrey) Hubbard of Warren and Ms. Sandra A. Cobb of Columbus; Godchildren, Anthony Walker, Michael Walker, Ms. Megan Stringer, Joshua Moxley, Samuel Moxley and Ms. Rachel Moxley; special friends, Elder and Mrs. Jerry (Sue) Moxley, Mrs. Phyllis (Fred) Harmon and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Isaiah Cobb.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 12:00 Noon, at the Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ.

Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon.

Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
