WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Claude D. Linger, Jr., 74, of Warren, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Continuing Health Care in Mineral Ridge.
He was born November 24, 1944 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the son of Claude D., Sr. and Dorothy A. (Callahan) Linger Layman and had lived in Ohio for more than 30 years.
Claude retired as a machinist from Ajax Magnethermic.
He enjoyed amateur radio and belonged to several different amateur radio associations.
Precious memories of Claude live on with his companion and soulmate, Sharon Hoffman of Warren; a son, Jeff Linger of Fairmont, West Virginia and a sister, Patty Shorter of Fairmont.
His parents precede him in death.
Services are 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Dittmar officiating.
Friends may call 2:00 – 3:00 pm Thursday, May 2, at the funeral home prior to services.
