Carol Anton, 72, of Hermitage, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at her home in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
Carol was born on August 17,1946, to William and Elizabeth (Thomas) Anton in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
She graduated from Hickory High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
In her earlier years, Carol taught at New Castle High School and most recently, she worked as a call center representative for TeleStars LLC in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
She enjoyed reading and loved her black lab, Raider.
Carol is survived by her cousins, Robert Pishko of Canfield, Ohio, Michael Thomas of Hermitage, Robert Polochak of Sharpsville, Marianne (Thomas) Palermo of Lititz, Pennsylvania and Evelyn (Thomas) Grandmeyer of Peru, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by father, William Anton and mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Anton.
Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2230 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA 16148, in memory of Carol.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.

A television tribute will air Friday, February 8 at the following approximate times: 12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
