HOLIDAYSBURG, PA (MyValleyTributes) – William E. Hickox, 87, of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Allegheny Lutheran Home.

He was born September 24, 1931, in Warren, Ohio, a son of the late Ward F. and Alma (Valentine) Hickox.

William married Connie Hagmaier on April 28, 1951.

He was a graduate of West Farmington High School and was employed at GM Lordstown for 30 years.

William was a veteran of the United States Army. 

William enjoyed traveling and fishing.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Warren, Ohio.

He was also a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 1112 Lordstown, Ohio.

He is survived by his sons, Randall (Gloria) Hickox of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey E. Hickox of Toledo, Ohio; granddaughters, Lauren (Joshua) Gearhart and Kelly Hickox, both of Duncansville, Pennsylvania and great-grandson, Warden James Gearhart of Duncansville, Pennsylvania.

William is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Connie (Hagmaier) Hickox on June, 1 2007.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 6 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

Services will be held at Champion Township Cemetery on Monday, May 6 at 12:30 p.m. where Pastor James Dittmar, will officiate.

Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery, Champion, Ohio.
