WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Robert Stanley “Stan” Sapp, 63, of Warren, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.
He was born February 7, 1956, in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Edwin F. and Ruby A. (Hembree) Sapp.
Stan was a 1974 graduate of Champion High School.
After high school, he served in the United States Army.
He was a very talented artist who loved to draw and write poetry. Stan loved spending time with his family and giving them “nicknames”.
He is survived by his daughter, Erica (David Aston) Tawney of Girard, Ohio; son, Kyle Sapp of Warren, Ohio; fiancée, Debbie Housel; brother, Ray (Patty) Sapp; sisters, Susan (Bob) Denna and Karen (Keith Urso) Cross; sister-in-law, LouAnn Sapp; grandson, Darin Sapp and granddaughter, Alaina Aston.
In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Sapp.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Grace United Methodist Church, 1725 Drexel Avenue NW, Warren, OH 44485.
