Martha E Stewart, 86, of Warren, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Sunday afternoon, February 10, 2019, at her son’s residence.
She was born December 21, 1932 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Ward and Ruby (Buckley) McCullough.
Martha married Richard N. Stewart, Sr. on April 7, 1951. They shared 25 years of marriage and many happy memories together until his passing on May 6, 1976.
She was a dedicated, hardworking, loving, “stay at home” mom. After raising her six children she took a job at the former St. Joseph Riverside Hospital in the housekeeping department.
She was a member of the Leavittsburg Church of God and enjoyed knitting, crafts and baking.
Martha is survived by five children, Richard (Pereane) Stewart, Jr. of Florida, Robert “Bob” Stewart of Warren, Mark (Patricia) Stewart of Champion, Karen Stewart of Ravenna and Barbara Jean Price of Streetsboro. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Nicholas, Germaine and Ginelle.
Besides her husband, Martha was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ralph Stewart; four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Avenue, Warren, with Pastor James Dittmar officiating.
Friends may call 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 15 at the funeral home prior to services.
Martha will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in the Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
