WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Eunice M. Trescott, 81, of Warren, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 22, at St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital.
She was born January 27, 1940 in Warren, a daughter of the late Fred L. and Tecil I. “Irene” (Wilfong) Simmons, Sr.
Eunice attended Warren G. Harding High School and worked for several years as a nurse assistant, prior to retiring.
She was a member of the Elim Christian Center in Warren. Eunice enjoyed volunteering and donating her time in service of others, from helping at homeless shelters to feeding the needy. She was a selfless, giving woman, who loved her family dearly, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Eunice is survived by five children; Sheril L. Trescott, of Bastrop, Texas, Jeana (Robert) Scruggs, of Houston and David R. ( Shermannetta) Trescott, Jr., Kenneth A. Trescott, and Patricia L. Trescott, all of Warren. She also leaves behind a brother, Felipe (Debra) Romain, of Warren; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by three sons; Ronald E. Simmons, Ernest B. Trescott, and Matthew Trescott; two brothers; Fred L. Simmons, Jr., and Gerald McConnell and two sisters; Helen Diana and Betty Moorhead.
In keeping with her wishes cremation is taking place and there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
